it should be 5 pt 2 because i have already done a drawing for these lines, but who really cares? ... wellll this is, as you can see the sixth time i've done a tribute for this song. i thought it would be done with at no.5 buuut i got a surge of inspiration, and here we are. last time i did one was at a bad time >_> for one of my watchers. i wonder if i'll ever be truly finished iwth doing drawings for that song... Oh right, i assumed everyone would know what i'm talking about. The End of This Chapter is a song by Sonata Arctica, from their album "Silence", it's my favourite song of all time, off of probably my favourite album of all time, an album i have yet to own... I quite literally have been thinking about drawing this pose for this line of the song since... a very long time, but it has NEVER come out right until now. Honestly, i thought this drawing was not good, but as soon as i turned that song on, it suddenly looked way better. give it a shot [link] |

Facial expressions are absolutely brilliant here. The look of anguish in his eyes, like his world is just slipping through his fingers and he can't catch it... superb. Heartbreaking, but superb. And the hand pulling her away, that ltitle detail makes the whole picture complete. Her expression too; maybe a little unspoken apology behind that face. The background is wonderful too, I especially like the heavy double outlining around the right hand side of the picture, around the face and hand. Brilliant, adds such a bold feeling.
I haven't listened to this in a while, but I put it on just now, thank you for the 'reminder' as it were.
I'll always love this song.

thank you so much, your comments are always very nice to read and recieve, i'm glad i did that drawing back then, earlier today i was thinking about how i need to give back to those who support me, but i realized i already have. so i'm glad i did it back then, or else i'd have some guilt to deal with, and quite a bit of work to do.
